So here's the Death/Darkness Dragon that I mentioned in the Earth Dragon's description. I think I did pretty well on it and for once I think I was pretty darn creative with it. Again, I didn't prepare a description for it so here's a small one that may go through a little bit of editing later on.
Hourglass-I usually put an hourglass with anything that has to do with death. I know, it's a huge cliche but I can't resist. For all of those who don't know, the hourglass symbolizes the time that Death usually keeps before one has to die in the human world. When the sands run out, Death takes his run over to the human to take his or her life.
Wings-Yes, another huge cliche with the holes in the Darkness Dragon's wings. But I couldn't come up with much of anything else to put for his wings. The spikes and such at the ends of the wings are a little bit different for me, so does that count? Hey, I'm happy that I at least got him flying.
Tail-I'm kinda' saddened by the tail because I thought that I could make it a little bit more original. But it turns out that I couldn't think of any kind of design or detail that would make it completely my own thought. I mean, I thought of one, it's just that when I finished drawing it out, I erased it because I thought that it would be more fitting if I drew it on the Wind Dragon.
Spikes-The spikes are not like armor unlike the Electric Dragon's, for they're used for more offensive attacks than defensive. It doesn't leave any open spots because even under those spikes are much smaller, sharper ones so no harm can come to the Death Dragon. No, there is no way to defeat or kill the Death Dragon. Makes sense once you think about it, right?
Eyes-The eyes are red and pupil-less. Not very original if you ask me and they even seem a little bit too small to top it all off. Though I couldn't make them any bigger for some odd reason. I was never really good at making the eyes, anyways.
Mouth-While I was making the mouth, I was thinking "Oh, God, it's gonna' end up looking like a Lugia. But it turns out that it didn't because of the editing I did to the mouth later on in the picture.
Horns-I've always wanted to make horns like that but I could never get it right. So today I tried again, thinking really hard about how I wanted the horns to look. Turns out that with a little bit of thinking and drawing, I finally got it. I'm pretty happy for myself due to that. ^^
Yes, I do intend to try to make a dragon of every element.
