wellll my mom came up with the idea of this one and she wanted me to make a big painting for her office. it's 5 X 3 feet. it's done with acrylics, and i used no gesso, therefore it was a living hell to paint. every. stroke. of it. hell.
anyway. now that i have the trauma out of my system.
those are the peacocks who frequent our yard. the griffin does not frequent our yard. except on tuesdays.
it's supposed to be me, but it looks more like my mom when she was 20. eh, close enough, right? and that is my fat cat svelte god, shimbo.
in my defense, i think i could've done a lot better with gesso, having control of where the paintbrush goes and all. what can i say, i'm a moron when it comes to accepted practices. also, i think the wall color i picked is hideous. even though it's sort of the same as the wall color in my room. it looks better in my room. XD
i tried but i couldn't think of a title for this. maybe because the root idea for it wasn't mine.
