This is Mana-ia (manaya). She's a warrior princess from the shores of Vide-jiyo. She is a grandaughter of Aman Sinaya, a Filipino goddess of the sea. (I'm filipino...so..) The characters are based from folklore...about our gods and goddesses but the whole thing is fiction. She was made to travel to another land to marry the Lejiyan King...against her will. This proved very difficult for she possesses a free spirit that no one, not even the handsome young King, Sumakwil could break.
