- Dating status: Currently single.....so we believe (though her and Mello get very close over a while)
- Short Bio: After Serene was taken in by Watari and sent to Wammy's House in Winchester England, she was set in line to become another one of L's successors. She has always been on top of her game and always trying to get ahead of the others most of the time. This drive is what leads her to becoming good fiends with Mello (cuz they both have the need to become number one. That and they both aren't to fond of Near) After L's death Serene is heart broken because L was her greatest motivation and goes into a slight state of depression. This is around the time when she truly got focused on finding Kira and avenging L's death by catching him herself.
- Extended Bio: After Mello's death Serene is asked by Near if she would be interested in working along side him as his "personal assistant" staying by him 24/7 to protect and do important things for him. Near asks her this because he knows that Serene is truly pure of heart, and was only with Mello due to her feelings for him. But now, seeing as how Mello is gone and the need to be wild and free is gone as well, Serene (though a little unsure whether to trust Near or not) accepts the offer and works along side him as S for the rest of her career.
- Interesting Facts:
1.- Serene is always seen drinking some kind of iced drink. Slurpees and Iced Caps are her faves.
2.- She has a part time job singing at a night club close to where Mello and the others are (this is supposedly in Los Angelos, California) under the name Cathy Silverson. Also, she sometimes sings when she feels uneasy or upset to help her regain her train of thought.
3.- She owns a gun.
4.- In the begining, Serene was always trying to over shadow Near. He drove her crazy alot of the time and that's why she joined forces with Mello. However in the end, Near ends up being the one she's working with. (ironic no? lol! xD)
5.- The name Serene was given to her because when she was found she had a peaceful expression on her face. That and she was quite peaceful when she was a child.
