Man, I never really finished the background 'cuz i couldn't find any colors that wouldn't look crappy T^T...any suggestions?

And Mariel-chan, if u read this, I'm SOOO SORRYYYY it's taking so long to get the contest entry and art trade finished, I got the sketch done, but I haven't had the time to finish yet TT^TT.....Would you mind reminding me when the deadline is?
