This was inspired from a lost scene from the manga. After InuYasha is gravely wounded by Goshinki & had transformed into a youkai. The next day he's recouperating & see's Kikyo's soul collectors & follows. In the anime he meets Kikyo who keeps her distance in a tree throught the discusion. In the manga after InuYasha falls, Kikyo embraces him. This is the scene. It looked sweet & should the kinder, feminem side of Kikyo rarely seen. She sure got bad press by InuYasha x Kagome fans...
