So yeah... Edward's dad is an apothecary and sent him to be apprenticed to an alchemist (not like in FMA - more like chemistry and magical mystical crap). The girlie on the upper left is a muse. She's doubling as a lightbulb, and she's not happy about it. :) The lemur-siamese-cat-chicken-feet thing is the alchemist's pet. It doesn't like strangers, and its interests are food, messing with bugs, getting into any container of fruit it can find, and trying to rip Edsy's face off. I don't think the light turned out all that pink, but I guess it's okay. Watercolor - I don't know why that rat is hanging here. Maybe it's part of a potion that Edward's master is planning on making to cure boils or flavor pigeons or something.
