Title: Farewell to Summer

The Story:
That's right kids, it's time to go back to school! I feel like Dr. Huxtable when he pretty much started a "Go to School" parade. Anyway, it's back to school for Gohan as well, and apparently he's still thinking about a summer trip to the beach. Not really something you want to do while in class, you could miss important notes, or end up in a bad situation.

My Take:
This idea pretty much came to me while I was caught in traffic, behind a couple of school buses. Then all those back to school commercials came on. Anyway, it took about 5 minutes for me to get Gohan on paper (being an SD caricature and all), when I got to Videl, the main goal was for her to be in shape. I probably could have gone a little further, but I chose not to...I didn't want her looking like an amazon or anything like that.

What I Like Most:
Look at Gohan trying to keep himself together while in class. I like how Videl's hair came out here as well, still covering her left eye (l really like how that looks by the way), the antennae thing is still there, and it's longer than it was last time (hair does grow back). Can't forget about that tan, I think it came out very well.

What I Dislike Most:
I wanted to get a palm tree in that beach area back there and probably should have, but it wasn't going too well, and I didn't really want to spend too much time on this one. I probably could have done more with that wall in the background as well.

Final Thoughts:
For those of you that are new to my drawings, I use a different style than you are used to. This style is most noticeable when I do DragonBall characters. I have nothing against the original style, I just wanted to have a style that was different than everything else.

Summer vacation is over kids, and I can't stress enough: make sure you do well in school. Don't end up like others that we've seen in the news! Us "U.S. Americans" can't keep looking like this.
