This is my entry for the contest held by vampire kiss. Any Flame of Recca fan would be able to tell that I used a reference for this pic, with some of my own modifications, such as the writings on the grave, the chains and blood on the wings... and Neji's head (yes, I beheaded Kurei and put Neji's head there =.= Sorry, Kurei) Medium: Mechanical pencil and eraser (DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF PENCILS! xD PENCILS PWN!) I wanted to colour this pic actually, but again... I didn't have time =.= On the grave, it says "Hyuuga Hizashi" on top, and "Konoha Ninja" at the bottom. And I just realised last minute that one of the characters is written wrongly >.< I'm not sadistic... but I find the blood pretty fun to draw 8D Oh, and the chains... OMG, they're an absolute PAIN to draw, but I made sure each and every one of the links look perfect, I think it turned out well in the end :) I intended this one to be the second pic titled "The Caged Bird", but decided to use it on this contest instead, since the title given sounds quite similar.
