I got the idea for this drawing of my anime self when I was reading the third volume of Kare Kano. In the back there is this illustration of Soichiro in one of the extra pages, which gave me the idea. So I drew this. After I finished and examined it for a bit I decided it was to boring with a plain white background, so I added the words and colored the background black. Also, I wanted to mention, "Hime", which is written on the right, is my name (Sarah) translated to Japanese. (Himegimi is actually my name translated to Japanese, but Hime is for short.) Now, the Japaneses characters on the left is "Hime" written in Kanji. Sketched with pencil, inked with fine-tip, black pen, and colored with crayola colored pencils. background done in sharpie.
