I made this picture for my friend Frank who is being deployed to Germany for the next 3 years and possibly Iraq. I drew us with a little Disney style. I tried to get his Army office uniform accurate from memory. Hope I didn't butcher it. The words written down is a prayer that I say for him every day. It says "There's a young man far from home, called to serve his nation; sent to defend our freedom on some distant shore. I pray You keep him safe, I pray You keep him strong, until he is safely back home where he is loved and belongs." Oh and if you're wondering why there are silver streaks in my hair, that is my premature gray hair. Yeah, kinda sad.
