For my final project in my CGT 216 class (Adobe Illustrator) we had to make a poster from an existing movie, and I chose Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (big surprise, eh?). Anyway I decided to use my own artwork on it, so some of you may recognize that picture of Cloud. The only difference is i went into the original .PSD file and stripped away the blue overlay and background. (My original picture of Cloud can be found here: http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?action=retrieve&id=140960 ). The picture of Sephiroth in the background isn't something I've submitted coloured. I DID submit the lineart awhile back (found here: http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?action=retrieve&id=138835 ) and I did a quick paint job on it for this project. because it is so quick is why I did not submit it here. I might go back and fix it up to do so. Also, some might notice a difference from the lineart. I edited it to look like his original FFVII outfit, whereas the lineart is his Kingdom Hearts 2 outfit. The logo and title in the corner I recreated in Illustrator. The credits at the bottom...I was feeling lazy and didn't want to research, so I just used katakana for the titles like 'director' and 'producer'. 'writer' I'm not sure if that is the right word concerning a screen writer, but really I don't care if any of that is wrong, because it's too late to change it now anyway. I based the design of this poster on actual posters for AC, because I wanted some sort of consistency with the actual theme of the movie.
