Thanks for liking the sketch, so I'd finish it! 8D Haha.
The complimentary colors thing is where you use the opposite of a color to make it darker for shading. (Red shade with green, orange shade with blue, etc...) I didn't do it for the whole picture, but it's something I've been trying to keep in mind. :V
Ty for this picture. :'D I'm glad you finished!! And although I don't understand the whole complementary colors thing, I think you have improved! Sooo yeahhh. I await the actual print.
Huh. Well, Google told me it was the word for around. xD
Yeah, it's good to experiment around with complimentary colors! :D It'll feel awkward at first, but after a while you get the hang of it. Though for blue, I use black and dark brown for the shadows; orange is a brighter color, and brighter colors tend to look like they're in the foreground. Using it for shadows can look kind of wonky. xD

It's been awhile since I actually USED my French, so I can't say for certain if it's 100% accurate. I think it works though. Never seen the word "autour" before, though.
It's good that you explained the creative process. I should try doing shadows in complimentary colors sometime.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!

I really love how dark you made some of the shading; solid highlights and lowlights. It's really nice byway of the poses and the anatomy, too!
