Hahaha thankyou Kro-chan!!!! I missed ya! <3 Lol you are so nice! I was nervous about posting this experiment cuz it was so messy in my opinion... I couldn't get part of the shading and face right but it was good to learn some things :)
Thankyou! Sorry for my late comment, I'm glad you enjoyed my paint experiment! You encouraged me and I'm gonna keep working with digital :)
Kyaaaaa thankyou Live!! I see so many mistakes in it but I can't tell you how much it means to me to know that you like this paint experiment :) (sorry for my late reply by the way!)

Thanks Ryu!!! Man I missed ya! I appreciate your comment... Ya I'm going to keep working on this style, I barely have ever done digital painting let alone realistic... you are one of my role models in digital! ^_^ Yea exactly, I really wanna do more right now xP
Kyaaaa thanks Kita!! I think he looks a bit weird but it really is good to know that you think its ok... I sometime judge my art too strongly >//<
Tahnkyou Sera! >///< Sorry for my late reply! Gah you are so nice tho, I still think he turned out looking a bit odd from all my experiment work on his face LOL!! but I'm really glad you liked this anyway! I was so nervous posting it up since I thought it looked so weird! O_O

Whoop intense gaze! Great to hear your experimenting, that is always fun. I like the hair - lots of layers but for me the contrast of blue vs light blue is a bit big - but hey maybe I'm just not used to anime anymore xD But it's impressive on how you built the layers up.. :3
For the skin, I really like the coloring on the right cheek (left for us), but bit bright on the other cheek. For skin painting I highly recommend this tutorial and the several other tutorials from the same artist: link clicky. Also use it simply for picking the colors - she has some skin color pallets :3
Nice work on the glasses!

this looks good Jen, I really adore the way you did the hair! I have always wanted to draw hair like that, but I can't figure out how. OTL
as for the rest, it's good painting. Looks a little dark, but it's good painting. XD and those eyes are so cool!

Ummm you mean "perfection just right?" This is really nice Jenna! The shades are really deep and vivid ^__^ Thanks for linking the tutorial too, I think I might use it XD Keep up the great work! :) Haha, every time I look at tutorials, I always end up learning stuff, so that's good if you did too ;)
~Everyday is a gift, that is why they call it The Present~
i am not an expert on realism but it's not bad.i have also seen this tutorial on DA myself but never got around to trying it because it not what i am looking for but yeah i pretty much understand your urge to try something new in order to improve your skills, happens to me sometimes.
This looks pretty nice! I think you succeeded. ^^b
to me, it looks wonderful!!! :D but I'm sorry, I can't help you with that <.< digital painting and me are not combined XD
still an awesome work you did there! ^^
