we don't use that either....it's like...well, my parents kind of wanted my brother and i to address each other as 'Sis' or 'Bro', but it didn't take, and we call each other by name XDDD
this makes me think of how my mom and dad tried to get me to call my brother 'younger brother' and my brother to call me 'older sister' when we were young (there are different words for 'older brother' and 'younger brother'). it never took, probably because i was only a minute older than my brother XDDD
wowww....7-12 children??? well i guess that it's true that Taiwan has a really low birth rate...most kids at our school are only childs... is your brother older than you are?
I spend a lot of time with my brother too. I spend some time with my sister, but I rarely see any of the rest of my relatives... I'm just related to them. :P Our family is actually considered small for where we live. Most families here have 7-12 children. -____-
wowww that is a BIG family....and i thought my family was pretty big (it is compared to a lot of families in Taiwan). i have four aunts and three uncles on my father's side, and one aunt and four uncles on my mom's side. And cousins......welll actually i don't know how many there are...maybe 8 that i know of?? there are several distant relatives who sort of blur the lines between uncle and cousin because of their age... XDDD still spend most of my time with my brother though

yeah, I have one brother, one sister, and one half brother and one half sister. Then my half siblings have half siblings too...Is that all the cousins you have? I have 23 cousins on my moms side, and 19 on my dads side... I come from a big family lol xD
i like the one my age, but we only meet up like once a year at family dinners, and we don't interact AT ALL on fb. the ones who're older are like wayyy older....one even has kids, if i remember correctly (and that was back when i was about 10 or so!!). my two younger cousins who live near me are 12 years old, and while i don't mind teaching them how to draw, but they're just...a bit young to understand a lot of things.i have my brother though =)) do you have any siblings?
I only have one that's my age, and she hates me. (She even blocke me on facebook that's how badly she hates me...) but I get along really well with a couple of my older cousins. The one who gave me all the rice is a great artist and she majored in Shakespearean studies at the same college I'm going to. :) We have quite a bit in common, and it's nice having someone who understands me.
30 pounds of rice...O.o that is a A LOT of rice XDDDDD are you going to cart the whole lot to college?? your cousin's cool though =))) i have only one who's my age and the rest are just....sorta distant i guess?
ahhhh rice! I forgot about that. -w- My wonderful cousin got me a rice cooker when I graduated from high school. And about 30 pounds of rice XD I'll probably be eating A LOT of that for the next year :3
one of the prompts i answered while applying to college was: 'Write a letter to your future roommate' and the last line of my note was: 'I can't cook for my life, so I hope you can." XDDDDDD
I'm living on campus in an apartment with 5 girls. I don't have anyone in my room with me, but, I have them as dorm mates... I just hope one of them is a really good cook XDD
Haha wow!!! That must be rally hard! I've been to 5 different schools since kindergarten, so I'm used to moving around... I'm just not used to moving on my own.
yeah, mine too =DD nervous....well, i've been in the same school from when i was in kindergarten to high school so i'm TOTALLY freaking out now XPPPPP in march i was still like, yeah, cool, i'm going to university and now I'm like.......eep, help XDDDDD still looking forward to it though =))
oh god i envy you sooooo much!!! i really wanted to do music theater or design, but because my brother's studying piano (which is really pricey), my parents never let me learn anything arts-related (no singing lessons, drawing lessons.... :////)the most i ever did was choir at school, and that might've been because my brother was the pianist. i already got permission from my university to take courses like 'Introduction to Theater Studies' instead of 'Engineering and Society' (or something like that) though, and i hope that i'll be able to do some music theater in college =))
Haha, I'm doing Theater. xD I don't have enough patience for math/sciencey stuff.... My mom wanted me to go into law, but that doesn't really fit in with MY dreams :)
my twin brother got into the same school i did though, so i'll have company =)) and my mom is coming too, so O_o...... what're you majoring in?? i'm doing chemical engineering, although i kinda wanted to do arts XPPP
Wow! That is a big move! I'm heading to Southern Utah. It's only about 3 hours from where I live, so it's not that bad, I'll probably come home every month or so for a visit. :)
i'm making a huge move...probably will only be returning home once a year, so i'm packing as much as i can stuff into two suitcases. where are you headed? i'm off to mcgill in canada =))
haha i did the same thing a week before (i'm packing for college) and when i got to jewelry there was this load of silver and black punk jewelry that made me think: wth was wrong with me then??XDDDD
I know! I just went through my closet a couple weeks ago to get rid of all the clothes I never wear, or that don't fit.... some of them made me wonder. xD
I'm not a huge fan of pastels either. Every once kn a while I will wear pastel mixed with something bright. :) I like bright pinks, reds, and purples :)
loli clothes like this in Taiwan are usually in white or pure Gothic black =)) but most girls in Taiwan, for some reason, dress in pastels (i'm not a fan of pastels) haha i get really weird looks too, because i love really vibrant colors (like the colors i use in my drawings XDDDD!!)
Really? That's awesome! I had a foreign exchange student friend from Taiwan. We got along pretty well, because we both had an interesting taste in fashion :) I live in America, and I get really strange looks, but my clothes aren't even half as outgoing as this! :P
yup clothes like that are pretty cool =DDi live in Taiwan, which is pretty close to Japan, so clothes like this are not that uncommon =)) but that doesn't stop my friend from getting weird looks when she wears stuff like that XDDDD
