mehndi usually lasts one - three weeks depending on how long you let it dry ^^ unless you put it on your nail then it can take up to 6 months to go away, ^^;

if you really want to try it i can help you find some good powder and tell you how to make it, let me know ^^

i'll even draw some samples for beginners, if you want them.

btw, my race is indian (from india), but my parents come from south america (mommy) and pakistan (daddy).

but i was born in united states of america, and ive lived here my entire life til today ^^

but i love to draw body art ^^ i like tattoos too but i dont like to keep the same image for too long so mehndi is better for me XD
