Thanks for the advice. I actually still have the original pencil sketch, so if I get a second I'll defiantly give your suggestions a shot.
Seriously, thank you for the constructive criticism, I really appreciate it. And sorry for not typing more, I've already done one extraneous response today.
Thanks, I really do appreciate it. (I should probably tell this to everyone else too...)
Incidentally, I've apparently already started taking your advice. For some reason for this I decided to leave the pencil sketch alone and just trace it in GIMP. If I get some free time I'll probably try playing with the sketch like you suggested and so if I can at least improve on some of the things everyone mentioned.
And no, if doesn't sound horrid. I admittedly hadn't seen it that way before, but new perspectives rock.
And seriously, thank you for the constructive criticism. I just hope I can do something with it.
If you ask me, although others have mentioned practicing on clothes, the most important thing to begin with is positioning of the body and proportion, Like, sometimes you draw the arms a little too long, or in this case, the legs are more to the side.
It might actually be easier for you, rather than inking in a picture and looking at it for areas for imrovement, stick to pencil sketches and try adjusting from what they look like.
It's what i used to do with mine (and still do) but i suppose it's whichever is easiest for you.
Also, once the body etc is sorted everything else just falls into place through practice.
But anywho, i think this looks really good ^w^
And the fact the hair looks kinda fluffy x3
Looks good! ^_^
For practice with wrinkles on clothing, start out simple, then build off of that. ^_^ Or, look at your on clothing, and see how the wrinkles are formed. :>
As for hands, you can usually use your own hands as a model. :3
Hope you color this soon! ;D
That's good! You've improved :D
The hands are pretty good. I think everyone has problms with hands everynow and then and the more you practice drawing them, the better you'll get.
Folds in clothing are kind of hard too so it takes practice to know where exactly to put them.
The head looks really good though! It's nice to see that you're alive XD

@otakufangirl:
Thank you for the encouragement, it really helps to hear things like that sometimes.
I am sorry for not saying more, I'm a bit preoccupied right now. But seriously, thank you.
