It's beautiful. I love the colors and the border as well. The only thing that seems a little off is her right leg. It comes across as being more up instead of lying flat? I don't even know how to explain that, other than the depth just seems off a little.
Now as for the coloring, I would have never realized that it was your first time doing it the digital way. You really nailed that well. ^_^

Well, it takes me about 4 hours to get into NYC from where I live in upstate NY and YES! People need to realize...NYC is NOT NY state. It's just a city within the state of NY. That would be like calling Hollywood all of California or Orlando all of Florida. NYC is just the small area of the island of the very bottom of NY state.
And the borders I did just by having outlines that weave in and out of each other and then I colored them in on the computer. The girl and the background were done in 2 different images and then I just pieced them together.
It's pretty odd seeing a picture from you colored digitally, but it looks great as usual! It also makes a lot of sense as to why you did it, and I think it was the right choice.
I like the pose and the border, it's simple and cute. You've got my vote^^ If I could vote anywho...

I'm working on fixing that, but my hands are gonna need YEARS of practice to catch up to the ideas my noggin cooks up^^ I may submit something, still, but it won't be anywhere near the complexity, nor the scale, as the image that's plastered in my head right now. Oh my gosh Lindsey!! This is so incredibly beautiful and so detailed! the border is such a wonderful touch, it really makes the picture stand out. Haha, you know this kind of made me laugh because the fox girl has the same color of eyes and hair as me. XD lol. Wow is this your first all digital piece then? I think it is astoundingly great. i adore the border you have drawn I mean man that must have taken a long time of detailed work it is amazing! I love the T Shirt as well, the idea is so fantastic. Those T Shirts are one of the first things I think of as well. I really really hope this one gets through to the finals, you have done a truly inspired job, really well done ~ Many thumbs up ~
