I made him thinner because the characters in this anime were designed by CLAMP so the overall look to all of them is super thin...I actually made him a bit bulkier then he looks in the anime.XD
But thanks! Glad you like the hand...I'm a stickler for hands too...they don't ALWAYS have to turn out perfect but it's good to have them at least accurate...if that makes sense?

Very cute with the colors, shading and all the little cat faces in the background. There's only one thing I don't care for and that's the black marking around the cat's right eye. It just seems to look flat instead of dimensional with the cats face. So it seems awkward, not sure why, it's still looks fantastic though.
He looks so cute XDD I simply love the shades and the background. Though I would may have liked it a bit better if some cats were purple instead of green. :/

Thanks! Actually, the matte paper I always use is a copy paper you buy in office supply stores. I think you're thinking of illustration board which is quite thick and can be used to frame stuff. But no, just go into Staples or Office Max, go to their printing papers and I always go for the Epson Proffessional Matte Paper. It's so orgasmically smooth and works wonders with the prismacolor pencils. It's pretty thick paper but it's not as thick as most pencil/drawing papers.
I love neko anime! You did a nice job (as always)... I can't believe how nice your colors come out! Is "matte" paper that thick, board-like paper that you sometimes use for framing? I should look into it.
