Pain is sent through the nerves as electricity, so if I hook a guy up to some wires and measure the electricity flowing through his nerves, I could (quantitatively speaking) measure his pain. Sack that guy, hook a girl up to some wires, and punch her breasts. Whoever had the highest amount of electricity would unquestionably have been the one who felt the most pain!
Of course, there might be a problem in finding some test subjects...

"Oh, sorry, didn't see you." *sigh* I started walking with books in front of them just so that wouldn't happen (learned the hard way, I guess). I might add though, I never liked mine to begin with.
