Hmmm the flow of the light hits properly on the demon racoon's hand but it doesn't hit Gaara himself. I'm guessing by that you wanted the light to be more behind him rather than on him*shrugs*
The coloring and shading of the piece itself is beyond awsomeness.

Artistic, symbolic, sad, and simply beautiful. You have an adroit ability with colored pencils. Fantastic use of light and shade on his clothing, especially his white shawl [or whatever that is]. You are an artistic force to be reckoned with. You know how to make a drawing more than just a drawing, you know how to make it something full of depth and emotion. First off, I was wondering about Gaara's right hand. Is that how his fingers are suppose to be like? I was just wondering 'cause it kinda looks funky but I think I can see how you going that position. When I do it with my own hand, it feels weird but oh well, doesn't matter, it doesn't affect the overall picture.

Personally, I love to handle with color pencils the best (I don't do well with paint, markers don't shade, never tried charcoal, pastels are nice, but reminds me of crayons which aren't my fav, pen and pencil's fine but yeah, prisma colors all the way! lol ^^)

All I can say is wow this picture is truely amazimg. I can not belive that you can color in like that and the shading makes it seem like you are actually in the picture. the coloring is superb...but while that is nice the actual sketch could use a lil work...ive seen alot of ur other stuff and u seem to be a master of color and shading but if u want to truly improve try improving ur drawing skills
