There's probably no surprise who this is for... it's for my dear Hilly, one of my first friends and a true doll if I've ever seen one. She's always supported my works and listened to me gush over shows that she wasn't interested in but still allowed me to chew her ear off for a solid minute or so. And I'm looking back at the "birth" of our friendship. Pretty much we spent a bit of time admiring each others Marvel avatars until Hilly came onto my portfolio and offered the proposal, "friends?"

And, confession, I was sort of nervous when we first met... not gonna lie. You're such a nice person and you have amaaaazing art, I was a little overwhelmed. And you liked comics, a realm I was just diving in and I wanted to impress you with my uber-knowledge (oh my God I haven't said "uber" in years).

(I'm re-reading some of our first conversations and you totally called a Banner cameo in Iron Man 3. You psychic lady.)

She brought up something recently, this weird thing we'd go on about Captain America and eating healthy, calling him the Supper Soldier (honestly I don't ever remember how that started!). I don't know what was so funny about it but I remember it being a total riot. With Cap bursting through your walls telling you to eat right and all that jazz... I guess I can see the hilarity. Whenever I think of broccoli sometimes I have a bit of a chuckle and now I remember why!

(OH MY GOD I CAN NOT FIND WHERE SUPPER SOLDIER STARTED.)

(Nevermind, found it. I mispelled Super once and it all went downhill. One pyramid, under God, completely balanced, with nutrition and energy for all. I still need to draw that.)

(This description is taking so long because I'm just having fun reading us being complete dorks. And then Kami-chan awkwardly saw that I mentioned Love Stage in a comment to you and that's how that friendship got under way! XD Love you Kami!)

Anyways, girl, you're great, I miss you, we need to have week long chats about movies and comics again. I miss it ; ^; I'll totally drag your ass here from tumblr (on the weekends because we're all busy with school) if I need to.
