To let some of you know, I was born in Houston, TX and was raised in Hockley. This image is actually from my hometown. I used it because alot of my childhood memories were created here. From my first crush, to first kiss (you know, one of those moments in childhood innosence), to weekly neighborhood barbeques, and bon-fires. Where your friends and family were always together. Where you weren't afraid to put the worm on the hook and touch the wiggly fish. Where the world was your playground. Where everything seemed to be bigger than it actually is. Where nature and it's elements were stage-props in your adolescent plays. Where there was always magic and no worries. From sunrises to sunsets; days to night. From chickenpox and the measles. And unforgotten friendships. Home is a place you always think about even at the most random of moments. That's a place you will always belong. Those were, to me atleast, the most magical of times.
