well i always thought your "heart" was a metaphor for the section in your brain that "feels". i totally agree with you on the whole it doesnt make sense but i guess that part of the brain is ruled by a conscience and emotion. so much that it must seperate itself from the logical and analytical part of the brain. and thats why we have a "heart" that does not pump blood. o.O its pretty interesting for me since when you are in pain you feel a pain around the area where your real heart is. o.O

Sure, if you use it all the time. But sometimes it's better to just go with your feelings rather than thinking too much about something.
Hnn ... ? I thought if we used heart/feelings to think, that will mess up everything ...

The saying means to just do what you feel is the right thing to do and not think too much because sometimes when you think too much you mess everything up.
